| Sheriff Visit We contact the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station to have a deputies come by to talk to the kids about safety, to tell them that the deputies are here to help us and to keep our communities safe. The children get to ask questions, sit in the Sheriff car, put on some fo their gear and hear the siren! |

| Community Helpers We invite parents that have community helper jobs to come speak with the children about what they do. |

| Fire Truck Visit We contact Local Station #107 to come by to talk to the kids about fire safety and how the firemen are here to help and keep them safe. The children get to see the fireman put on his gear, so they know there is a person inside and it isn't scary. They learn to drop, cover and roll. The kids also get to explore and learn about the fire truck and spray the fire hose! |

| Easter Parties & Egg Hunts We celebrate Easter with each class holding a party with fun food, crafts and egg hunts for each class. |

| Dr. Seuss Week "Oh, the places we'll go and the things we will see, The thinks we will think and the learners we'll be! With cats in hats and wacky things galore, We’ll celebrate the author whose books we adore! We celebrate Dr Seuss’ birthday with a weeklong celebration based on some beloved Dr. Seuss classics. Reading activities will take place during school each day, and students are encouraged to dress up for each daily theme! |

| Annual Ice Cream Social Held in October. The children and their families are invited for an evening of fun, fellowship….and of course, ice cream with lots of toppings! |

| Ninja Stars Karate We offer an optional learning experience, at an additional cost, with Ninja Stars Karate. This is an 8-week session, with the last session as the Belt Ceremony, where the children receive their color belt! Sensei Greg Menjivar or other instructors come during school hours (9:30am-10:10am) to instruct children. All instructors have been fingerprinted and have immunizations on file. This is also a fundraiser for our school, with a percentage of each 8 week session cost are donated back to our school! | All School Service Week Annual Pacific Southwest District-LCMS All School Service Day is the third Wednesday of November. Our district encourages our staff and studens to reach out into our communities iwth the love of Jesus! We choose to do "Operation Christmas Child" boxes through Samaritan's Purse. Each class makes one boy and one girl box. On packing day, most importantly, "pray without ceasing" (1 Thess. 5:17) for the child who will receive your shoebox gift. Please also pray for: Their family to also be receptive to the Good News of Jesus Christ. The pastor of the church who delivers your shoebox gift. Their community to be transformed by the Gospel. |

| Vacation Bible School Our preschool is closed for the week in June and participates in bethlehemSCV's Vacation Bible School. All children enrolled in our preschool must register on the church website to join the fun at a minimal cost. Vacation Bible School is a wonderful way to learn about Jesus and is also a great time to have older siblings sign up to experience the fun!. Offered for ages 3 through 7th grade for a low cost. 9am-12 noon. |
